The SM3 hash function is a cryptographic hash function that is used in the Chinese National Standard. The SM3 hash algorithm is designed by Xiaoyun Wang and it was first published by the OSCCA in public in 2010.
It is considered similar to the SHA-256 algorithm but uses a different mathematical algorithm. SM3 hash is designed to be more efficient and faster than SHA-256. It produces an output hash value of 256 bits long, based on 512-bit input message blocks.
Calculating the SM3 hash of a string is not something that one can be done manually because hashing a string is a very complex and tedious process. That is where our online SM3 hash generator tool comes into play.
We have so many methods and tools available to calculate the SM3 hash of a string, but not every online tool gives an accurate result and that is why we have created this online SM3 Hash Generator tool. It is a very simple and easy-to-use tool. Most important thing is that it is beginner-friendly.
